What to bring to class
Bring a smile and an enthusiasm for learning. Class materials that I expect students to bring to class every day are: Pencils
pens
lined paper
3 ring binder
3×5 index cards
a spiral bound notebook
a binder reminder
Items that I do not require, but strongly recommend are: A ruler with metric measurements, a scientific calculator, a set of coloring pencils or markers, a pair of scissors, a drawing compass, and a protractor. A USB flash memory drive will be handy at project times. Anything with 512 MB or more memory would be sufficient.
What I will provide
I will issue three things: The Textbook (Prentice Hall Focus on Life Science), The Reading and Note Taking Guide mentioned above, and a spiral –bound notebook to be used as a science journal. When that journal is full I expect students to buy their own replacement.
